There are 17 life skills to choose from in Age of Kungfu which falls into four categories. 

 

Gathering – skills are used to obtain base materials such as ores, skins, meats, crops 

Profession: Miner, Hunter, Farmer, Logger and Fisherman 

 

Manufacturing – skills craft a variety of items for use such as armour, weapons, jewellery and food Professions: Tailor, Chef, Poison Maker, Craftsman, Blacksmith and Herbalist

 

Culture/Arts – skills provide tactical, cultivation and profession exp bonuses

Professions: Musician, Chess Master, Calligrapher and Painter

 

Marketplace/Market – skills are used to obtain cultivation bonuses, silver/silver coins and deliver the revered Beggar’s Knapsack to unsuspecting citizens.

Professions: Beggar and Diviner

 

 

 

Not all Life Skills can be learned so you have to choose carefully. A player may learn all 5 Gathering professions, only 1 Manufacturing professions, only 1 Culture professions and both Marketplace professions. Divination can only be learned if you are a Jianghu VIP.

 

Professions can be quit at any time but take note you will lose all progress made in that profession once you quit. 

 

You can increase your skill experience by doing different things like gathering, crafting, playing music etc. Enhancing your skills can grant you a new title and increase affectivity in your vocation. There’s a limit of exp that a player can gain per day. Skill books can also be acquired through Forbidden Instances.
